What We Collect

This site collects what you type into it, plus basic visit measurement from Google Analytics. Beyond that, nothing runs in the background to identify you or build a profile.

The one analytics tool on this site is Google Analytics, measuring visits and page views — see the Cookie Policy for the cookies it sets. Beyond that, the only thing kept in your browser is a record of the language you chose.

Information Taken During a Reservation

The reservation form asks for the following:

  • Full name
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone number
  • Date of birth, driving licence number and issue date, passport or ID number — to be verified physically at handover
  • Handover details — the meeting point, where the car is delivered and returned, and the hotel name or address you give us
  • The rental dates, the vehicle you chose, and any extras you added (insurance, child seat, additional driver, navigation)
  • If we are meeting you at an airport, your flight number and estimated arrival time

What the Information Is Used For

What you give us is used only for the following:

  • Setting up your reservation and handing the car over where you agreed
  • Getting in touch with you about your reservation
  • Providing support and roadside assistance during the rental

Data Security

This website does not store your reservation details itself; the form writes to no database. Your information exists only in your WhatsApp conversation and in A-One’s own records.

How A-One keeps its own records, how long it retains them and what security measures it applies has not been published yet. This section will be completed with A-One’s formal statement.

Third-Party Services

While you view these pages your browser connects to the services below. Each of them can technically see your IP address:

  • Google Maps — only for the map on the Contact page
  • Google Fonts and unpkg — for the page’s typefaces and icons
  • Google Analytics — measures visits and page views across the site
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — for the links on the Contact page and in the footer; a reservation is no longer sent through WhatsApp, it goes directly to A-One
  • Operon One — the site assistant. What you type, the language of the conversation and what you are looking at (the open vehicle, the dates) are sent so an answer can be produced. If you give the assistant your name and e-mail address yourself, those are sent too.
  • Telegram — not open yet. This list will be updated when the channel goes live.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. The only thing kept in your browser is a local value called `aone_lang` that remembers the language you chose; it is never sent to a server and does not identify you. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it at any time.
